What this talk is about
Hang Workshop. Guided sessions by Hang Dallas.
One night. One good room. You leave lighter, not with a project.
Where · Times Ten Cellars, Barrel Room. 6324 Prospect Ave, Dallas.
Everyone has one. The thing you have never said out loud.
The Confession Booth is a night of anonymous confessions read aloud to a room of strangers. You submit yours in advance through a private link. Nobody knows which one is yours. Morenike Olorunnisomo reads them live, starting light and funny and moving toward the ones that take some nerve.
There is no open discussion and nobody gets called on. After each confession the room answers together with a snap or a clap. That keeps the energy shared and the confessor anonymous.
How it works
Registered guests receive a private link to submit a confession before the event. Submit one, or come to listen. Every confession is read with no name attached.

Who's speaking
Morenike Olorunnisomo
Morenike Olorunnisomo owns Body Mind Soul Healing, a private therapy practice in Plano, Texas. At Body Mind Soul Healing, my mission is to create a safe, authentic space where healing unfolds through connection, curiosity, and compassion. I support each person in rediscovering their inner wisdom, cultivating empowerment, and nurturing wholeness across body, mind, and soul. She facilitates multiple therapeutic group formats focused on shared healing, including 'The Healing Circle' process groups and somatic movement sessions that create safe spaces for vulnerability and embodied healing. Hello! My name is Morenike (pronounced more-EH-nih-kay) and I’m a licensed professional counselor (LPC), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Edward’s University in 2017. After graduating, I did a year of service through AmeriCorps, then began graduate school the following year. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University in 2020. I’m pretty passionate about all things related to trauma, especially complex trauma, relational/attachment trauma, as well as cultural trauma, and intergenerational trauma, and am a self-identified forever student of the field. Because humans are so incredibly dynamic and complex, I seek any and all opportunities to learn more about informed care for these areas and populations. I practice from a feminist, relational, and trauma-informed lens, which in-part means that I view each client as a whole person by considering their journey and context and try my best to create a safe environment to hold space for anything a person may bring to a session. No topic is off-limits. I knew I wanted to be a therapist from a very young age to break down barriers to mental healthcare access and advocate for and normalize talking about mental health: the good, the bad, and the especially challenging topics. My hope is that eventually, people might feel less alone on this wild roller coaster called life.
